Training & Placement Cell:

Proper planning of the Technical manpower is considered to be very important for the growth of the country. Government of India attaches utmost importance to the engagement of the technical graduate in engineering establishments as soon as they graduate. Every year in each technical institution in the country, there is a separate department of training and placement cell to impart meaningful training to the students and to guide them to choose the right career. The various activities of the training and placement section of the college are detailed below:

Training:

Vocational training is compulsory for all the students of 2nd year and 3rd year. Each undergraduate student has to undergo 60 days of practical training in an organization of repute (private sector/public sector/govt. organization) throughout India during summer vacation. It has been included in the syllabus as an essential requirement for the course. Grades are awarded for the training taken by the students. The T&P cell keeps close contact with industries all over India and arranges the training for all students of the college. More than one hundred organizations provide summer training facilities to our students.

Educational Tour :

Educational tours provide first hand knowledge about field application of technical knowledge and help widen the overall concept. The training & placement cell arranges such tours for the students.

Campus Interviews :

Some industries of repute, Engineering Organizations, Consultancy etc. regularly participate in campus recruitment programme. Our students have proved their worth with the sense of self accomplishment winning the laurels of different organizational set up like TCS, WIPRO, SATYAM, INFOSYS, MBT,INDIAN NAVY, BSNL, ACCENTURE etc. Apart from these many students have started up their own middle scale  enterprises in in/outside of the state.
